Set a Positive Intention:
Begin the session by setting a positive and clear intention for the communication, such as only communicating with the spirits of people you know that have passed over, or that you only wish to connect with positive and benevolent spirits. Tell the board that you only wish to speak with ‘good beings’.
It is crucial however to recognise that while participants may set intentions, the Ouija board itself is considered an open channel. This means that, in theory, any entity from the spirit world may attempt to connect, whether you may know them at all.
However, a well-defined intention aligns the group’s collective objective and this unified focus can enhance the effectiveness and outcome of the communication, which can often lead to more meaningful and coherent responses. It’s always best to try and establish these clear intentions under which you are willing to communicate, whether you are successful or not.
Once again though, participants should always remember that spirits possess their own free will, and while intentions are expressed on the human side, spirits may choose not to engage with you based on their own discretion.
